Beitou Hotsprings Resort is a very nice place to stay! This is the first time I'm staying in Beitou and booked a Deluxe Room, 1 Double Bed for 1 night. The experience was amazing! The room was spacious and it came with your own personal steam room and onsen. It also has a patio which you can sit and enjoy your evening and sip a cup of wine. The amenities in the room were fantastic. Breakfast was provided and the buffet selection though small was good! We enjoyed the quiet ambience and the views of Beitou Park! The location of the hotel was amazing. It was short walking distance to eateries, thermal valley and the local museums. Also it's a short 2 minutes walk to Xinbeitou station which is your connecting MRT station to the main Beitou station. Hotel guests are given free access to the Hotel's Public Hotspring/Onsen area. The onsens are really nice and you'll definitely feel refreshed after a soak. Overall I enjoyed the stay there!

We stayed here for a few nights to enjoy Beitou after a roadtrip through Taiwan. Location: the resort is close to the hot spring museum and the thermal valley so this was ideal for us. Room: we had a room with a sauna and hot spring bath for ourselves which was amazing! Service: the staff is friendly and helpfull. Breakfast: they have good options for breakfast and lots of local delicious fruits. Overall a very good hotel to relax and enjoy Beitou.

7.6 areas need improvement. Location - great. Minutes walk from xinbeitou station. Cleanliness- bad experience. A cockroach was crawling across my hand at 2.30am in the morning while asleep. Woke in sudden shock and horror to search the room and kill it. Told the desk staff and her first response was it was unusual case as the hotel just did deep cleaning the day before. Not very apologetic. Wi-Fi - was very weak in our 3F room, almost no connection. Had to complain twice before they sent staff to fix it by installing another router in the room. Before that they requested we can go to ground floor to connect wifi easily from there and to access the internet when we need it …. Which doesn’t make sense at all! Breakfast - good spread, generous. Room - has own hot bath, steam room and sauna which is great. Public bath on lobby floor is free for hotel guests.

We stayed in a deluxe room with sauna and private hot tub. It is very spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the hotel's shared large onsen pools. Breakfast is included and spread is not bad. Internet is a little weak. Overall I would recommend it for the room's comfort and location of the hotel which is central. The staff did not appear as friendly nor helpful as compared to other Taiwan hotels we stayed during this trip. The lady in charge of the hotel's onsen Spa area also seemed a little intimidating when she "instructed" guests on the proper usage of the facilities. A little friendliness or courtesy would have improved my experience at the pools. Nevertheless the pools were great except on the 2nd night when the pool temperature was higher.

Beitou has been well-known a thermal springs resort since the Japanese colonial era (1895-1945) when Beitou was famous throughout the Far East. The Beitou Hot Spring Resort is unlikely to disappoint; the comfortable rooms have thermal baths which are great for soaking. The rooms with hot springs and sauna are quite luxurious. The resort is conveniently located near the local shops, and minutes from the New Beitou MRT Station
